I have a question, how often do you have your camera with you?
I say my camera is with me 95% of the time.

About 70%. I'm lax as I get older!

I just upgraded back in December. So maybe it's a case of being overly paranoid still enamored with my new gear. I went from a Nikon D7000 to a
D610.

I think also part of the reason as well I want to ramp up my game so to speak. I feel I may want to shoot something if I'm out and about. I want to work on my composition. I want to intuitively know the right exposure shutter speed ISO. Yesterday I had a follow up appointment and I just bought a polarizing filter. So I stopped at a park briefly took a few shots. Then on my way home stopped and took a few pics at the skateboard park.
I bought a few new lenses off eBay this past year and just want to see how they work limitations etc.

Nikon D610 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 AF
Nikon D610 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 AF...

I have my camera with me all the time, except for those times when I miss a great shot cause I don't.

:XD: ROFL........nice ok
My lens purchases thus far Tokina 16-26mm f/2.8, Nikon 70-210 3.5-4.5,
Nikon 70-210 f/4, Nikon 35-70 f/2.8, Nikon 35-135 3.5-4.5
I do have a 50 1.4 prime along with the 24-85 3.5-4.5 but the focal range drove me crazy.
The next two years I will be working on glass.
Though I have avoided it seems as though the universe may be guiding me this way. But my friend asked me to shoot his wedding (free) I also may be shooting a concert this month. So I figured I needed a selection to work with.

Only when I'm shooting!
Actually hardly ever. Unless I'm traveling, then it's close to 100%. When at home, most of the time I'm at work, so every now and then I see something I want to shoot, and go do so in a couple of days, or even weeks.
To put a number on it, maybe 10%. ;-)

Yep, me too except I nearly always have my iPhone with me. If it is something I want to come back to I email myself the shot with a notation regarding the location and time of day. ;)

My go bag weighs about 45 pounds but I take it with me to work everyday and I always lug it on the weekends.

Plenty of areas of interest around here to photograph... and I'm ALWAYS looking for new spots or checking sight lines on old ones.

ALWAYS.
