I have Aperture and Elements 12 and I don't use either. I prefer PSCC and LightRoom. Good luck.

I switched from Aperture to Lightroom. Both are non-destructive and have similarities operationally. The rub is switching your edited images across to LR. I'm unable to help here as I didn't have that many images and just shipped the originals across. I also have PSE (11) which interfaces well with LR and I use this when I want to work with layers.

Hopefully others will chime in to advise how you might transfer your images. Good luck.

I use LR for 98% of my work and to catalog photos. I also use
PS Elements, but only for those odd 2% of photos that need text or composition work. Even then, the image is exported from LR, worked on in PSE, then back to LR. And, I am very pleased with this combination of software.

Well, I have Photoshop Elements 10 and 11. I like 10 much better than 11. 11 seems to be a step backwards in the GUI something I've notice with a few other 'new versions' of Adobe products. Just feel I have better control with ver. 10 is all. For the record, this is the PC version as I know others probably have the MAC version.
