I like the effect. Can you share the process?

All I can say is that I started with a seriously under exposed image (-3.5 stops) adjusted in Adobe Camera RAW.
Cropping, some cloning out of small specular areas and tonal/color/saturation adjustments were done in PS CS5.
Noise was reduced with Topaz DeNoise with further spot noise reduction with PS Reduce Noise filter.
Some dodging and burning was done to reduce white highlights and to open some shadows.
Final sharpening was done with the High Pass filter (blend mode softlight).
Most of the heavy lifting was done via actions which I either developed myself or downloaded for free.
