Hello and welcome. You have found some interesting subjects which is a very good place to start. Adjusting to a new camera always takes some practice but it looks to me like you are off to a good start. I get my kicks using Photoshop Elements for editing photos as well as photography. As you will notice in a while, I often take the good photos people submit and photoshop them a little to see what I can do with them and to help others see what can be done with editing. Hope you don't mind if I do this with yours. I did the first photo and will submit it here. The house seemed to be a little slanted so I straightened the photo and then cropped of any distracting items from the sides of the photo. I also put the house located slightly differently in the photo to reflect the Rule of Thirds. (you can look this up on google if you are not familiar with it...it's a great and simple guide to good composition). I then did auto settings to adjust the levels, contrast and color. I manually sharpened it. I'll include a second edit where I cloned out the road sign.

I decided to play around with your other photos. The third is nice except for the focus and there is nothing I could do with editing to clear up that degree of blur. You might want to double check your manual about how to focus. with some cameras you have to press the shutter release only part way down to allow it to focus and then press it the rest of the way to shoot the photo. Otherwise it can be pretty blurry. I did touch up the other a bit. I love your nice little line up of geese. A bit out of focus and maybe the color could be slightly improved. I used auto levels and contrast, manual sharpen and cropped it to get the geese in the right location for the Rule of Thirds.

thanks for the adjustments, looks really good, but the third one of the goose, my nephew, likes them and he told me he wanted a big one, so i cropped it, and made it bigger by about 5 times...
