I took this photo while visiting the Fernbank Park on the west side of Cincinnati with the grandchildren. While they were playing with grandma at the play ground I was walking along a weed bank along the Ohio River when I saw and photographed this House Sparrow on a weed stalk...

Nice image! BTW, this is a Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) and not a House Sparrow. Song Sparrows are fairly common to common summer residents in your neck of the woods, but depart to the south for the winter.
