A Great Egret glides along the reed grass in the salt marsh late this afternoon.

Ok here's one from this afternoon by our very own Mrs. SG.
This is our buddy "Radar". As you can see he is banded, but if you look closely you can see an antenna sticking out from his back. He has a transmitter pack attached to his back with two antennas sticking out.
That's why we call him Radar.
Also visible are the oyster beds in the background.
If I keep taking her out with me she is going to embarrass me by coming back with better shots then me. :P

They're both amazing shots... absolutely wonderful.
