Roof correction needed

Hey guys / gals. I really like this picture but to me, the roof is too white? also got a lady that I didn't intend to get. I can remove her, but how do I fix this white / light roof?

Might have looked better with a brown roof . Selected the roof and then filled it with the colour and lightened the interior of the shed

Here is my try to your blown out areas. Used light room and adjusted the exposure in the highlight areas. Not much info there....do you have the raw file?

Actually no this image was shot in jpeg only. Looks as if you have helped it out some though... Sun wasn't helping that tin roof at all... thanks.

This is a case where HDR can help as the dynamic range is extreme.
Also, bracketing 3 to 5 exposures (in RAW) would make it much easier to handle.

This covered bridge is in North Carolina. Conover. It's called Bunker Hill bridge. Nice reading and history if you search it online. I'm going back to get better shots. Might have to climb up a tree to get the shot I want.

I thought it was an old garage or shed but then I dont think we have covered bridges in NZ so wouldn't know any better!!

Just a thought, maybe you could clone some of those darker spots on roof and put a few throughout the roof just to give it a little more texture or something like that. I'd try it but I'm not too good at that.
