I visited the Willowbrook Wildlife Center yesterday and took some photos of several species of birds. This center is a rehabilitation facility that provides care and medical treatment for injured and orphaned animals within the state of Illinois. I took these photos with my Canon t2i camera indoors through the bars of cages the birds are kept it. I was pretty happy with the way they came out and wanted to share. It was a great place to practice the manual settings on my camera and be so close to such beautiful birds.

These are beautiful shots, Dgusty3! Very well done! Good that you could shoot through the fences without getting it in the shot.

thanks Sailorsmom! It was a little tricky at first, had to use manual focus, of course, but it was a fun experience for them to be five feet away in their cages. They posed very nicely for me. lol
