Can't believe people on here are fighting over idiot politicians that don't give a crap about anyone but their selfs. You guys are just doing what they want you to do fight their fight. If everyone on here will send me $1000 dollars and make me their president lets make that king I promise you a goverment that will give you all that you need and make everyone millionaires . And yes I know I am a idiot my wife tells me that every day. I wonder how many comments I am going to get saying smart woman.

Thank you everyone for the thumbs up.

Don't applaud, throw money.

Ha, Ha, Ha.

I'm glad I got a point across. Now if only some more of us will stop, take several deep breaths and count to 100 before replying with hatred and sarcasm, we'll all have a stress-free (or at least reduced) day.

I'm worrying that all of the Bailey's has destroyed many more of my brain cells and turned me pacifist.

NAH!!!

That Baileys will make you fat and lazy! Might I suggest tempering that with a little Tempelton Rye and branch as an antidote! Old trick another Jar Head taught me!
Thanks for your service Marine!

Eleven pages back, I suggested that old conservatives (I wish to delete angry white) aren't activist on the 'front lines' by which I should have said the streets. Some have correctly, I believe, said that the voting booth is the true 'Frontline.'

I engaged in some friendly conversation with a few that disagreed with me. It is all here. There has been a lot of vitriol and finally some apologies by various contributors to each other. It looks like some did not play nice for awhile, some came to the defense of others.

As the veteran said, we need to play nice. There are too many brain cells here to be wasted on anger and name calling. It is not difficult to tell somebody you disagree. Anger and name calling only builds walls and ends open dialogue. I'm a newbie here and already I know who resorts to name calling and hate.

I'm guessing many of us can resort to tit for tat responses of anger. I suppose some get off on that.

Some find, it is better to have a thick skin than a thick skull.

I am done with this topic.

That may be so but, I've been to quite a few of my former squadron buddies funerals in the last 10 years. They were all much thinner and fitter than me and all died of heart attacks while exercising. I've told the rest that there is something to be said for a sedientary lifestyle. I may look like the Goodyear Blimp BUT I'm the one that's a pall bearer at their funerals.

Actually, I'm not that bad. I am overweight by over 50 lbs. and I do sit a lot while driving to my destinations but, once I get there I will usually walk in excess of a mile a day while climbing around all those huge industrial roofs. Most of what I inspect are in excess of 500,000 square feet!!! so I guess I'm doing pretty good for a 67 year old fart.

I fully agree with you.

My wife tells me the same thing every day and I've found out she's never wrong.

I learned early on that I'm not going to win a fight so Shut Up and deal with it.
Besides she always reminds me that when we were married & in the Military that SHE outranked ME. I was a Marine Corps Captain (O-3) and SHE was a Navy Surgical Nurse and a Lieutenant Commander (O-4). Been that way ever since.

You do not go anywhere to learn to be an Atheist. You do have to be taken to Church, Baptized, taught the Bible and so on to become a Christian. You are not Born a Christian you are raised a Christian, or a Muslim, or Buddhist, or whatever. One thing I can say for sure is that Atheists do not start Wars. Look back in history, or just turn on the local news, we have now and have had many Religion driven wars.
Now let me go back and take another toke.

Don't you love how atheist pontificates how anybody and everybody should be or act like.

If you don't believe in God, good for you.

I ,myself, have always wondered where you learn to be an atheist.

It seems to me someone didn't get what they wanted and are pissed off.
