This place is just not to be missed! Stunning scenery, with wildlife to boot! We saw Bald Eagles, of course. Harbor Porpoise, which are very shy. Black Bears. And seals. There was a 5.7 earthquake the morning of our trip, so we had LOTS of extra ice to see! The sky cooperated with lots of sun. Wow!
Black bear feeding on black mussels, first smashing them, then licking up the soup.

We just loved the unique shapes the bergs take.

The shy Harbor Porpoise, barely get a glimpse and they were gone.

Nice set. Was this part of a cruise? The wife & I went on a Norwegian cruise a few years ago and got to see Glacier Bay. Beautiful scenery.

Nice set and wow, lots of ice in the water. We took a Princess Inside Passage cruise a few years back and went to about the same location in Tracy Arm. No earthquakes that day though. Thanks for sharing.

We drove our car, almost 12,000 miles plus Alaska Marine Hwy plus 2 float plane trips and 1 to Gustavius (Glacier Bay). I did my own planning and reservations for our 41 day trip! It included going thru the Yukon and British Columbia. And portions of 10 states. We used 'Adventure Bound' for the trip to Tracy Arm. So to answer your question, no it was not part of a cruise.
Nice set. Really like the last one.
Very nice. Love the ice shots. I feel the cold.

I loved taking photos of the ice, they just took on so many interesting, unique shapes. I tried, but just couldn't capture most of them. Of course the day we were there, there were so many! But loved every minute of it.
