Old airplane buffs what is it ???

I was at a small airport and saw this but all I had in the truck was my old Nikon 35mm N90 film camera so I just did it.

Appears to be a T6 Texan trainer and the tail of a Lockheed Electra like Amelia Earhart flew. In one of the shoots you can also see the front of the Electra.

Correcting myself Vultee BT 13 Navy designation SNV. Found a photo of one in flight with landing gear extended.

Absolutely correct on the BT-13. The T-6 Texan had a distinctive "guitar pick" tail rudder.

Good MT Shooter. I think you nailed it down and put and end to this. Thanks for the info.

Really nice shots Carter, thanks for showing the Texan. Minor note, the Texan had retractable landing gear, and the BT-13 had fixed gear. Another quick way to identify them.

Interesting shots Don, I will stand to be corrected on this, but the twin Beech looks like the same model that Amelia was flying when she disappeared. Maybe someone will jump in and confirm or correct!
