Maverick and Rockford are my favorite shows. I will miss James Gardner, but watch the re-runs as long as they are available. Goodbye James.

I loved him, his acting was so "non-acting," you didn't think he was memorizing lines. My favorites were the 'Rockford Files' and 'Murphy's Romance.'

I enjoyed his career, I have never heard nor want to hear anything bad about him.

Totally agree! I don't recall anything he ever did, professionally or personally, as something to be ashamed of. A lot of today's stars - not only actors - could learn a lot from his history. He is resting in peace . . .

Big Jim fan. He was a special guy who was very talented, modest and with great charisma. Not full of himself at all.
He will be missed. Dean Martin had a similar personality. Two of my all-time favorites.
