One of these has been on my list for some time. I definitely will get one before making a planned tip of 3 months out West this summer. They have improved them since I started looking. I can even get one that will work with BOTH the D80 and D 700, if need. :)

I saw these about 10 years ago. I think they're made in Escondido area of So. Cal. They can also be triggered by sound. It was shown taking a picture of a bullet leaving the barrell of a gun. It seems to me that they were about $500 back then.
