Pix #2, everyone should have and know how to use this for home defence. My mother kept one and was never invaded. Just saw on the News an 87 year old woman was stabed and robbed. She will servive but could have stopped the incident.

I like both pics.., but not sure about the (hazing???)on the 1st one, It pulls my eye away from subject. The horse is very unique.. wonder what it would look like on a black background!!!

My wife is in a wheel chair and I would not walk in this house uninvited. Her personal choice is a Beretta .380 and she knows how to use it. The S&W Air weight .38 Special is my concealed carry weapon. Practice with it every week, it's a close up and personal pistol not useful past 15 ft.

I think I over processed the picture in Light Room. This was my first attempt to photograph "products" and try to make a table top "studio". Had fun at it, but realized there is a lot to learn about lighting.

Well you are way ahead of me, just starting to learn elements 10, lightroom is enticing, but not yet. have not even attempted a table top studio! Having fun and learning really does it for me, keep shooting!!!

enjoyed the photos and makes me think I have just being using the weather as an 'excuse' not to get the camera out since I couldn't get outside. we have had more rainy days than sunny days in the past couple of wks. and today it is bright and sunny and I've got to much to do to get out and about. I am inspired tho.

I love the gun shot...it's very interesting. Nice and crisp and interestingly arranged.

Thanks for posting, but who did you shoot? I only see five bullets.

Five is the correct number, for a five shot revolver. Take a closer look at this weapon.

It's a 5 shot revolver. Alloy frame called Detective Special Air Weight. If 5 shots don't work I will throw it at them and hope feet don't fail me now!

Just was not in the mood to practice my other hobby, reloading
I have about 500 rounds of 4 different calibers of ammo I need to clean, inspect, trim, prime, and reload. It's fun for about the first 50 then it gets boring. But guns won't go bang for me if I don't reload them.

The lighting on the revolver looks darn good, just a little light reflected onto the grip would nail it for me

I thought that after my post, when I saw it probably only had a two inch barrel.
