Thank you! I found it to be pretty unusual in real life, so I was hoping that would come across in the image. Do you ever get back to Maine?

They're both beautiful...the subjects, composition, background, color, sharpness. Thank you for sharing them. How plants of sublime beauty and delicacy manage to survive the harshest conditions is amazing.

Of the two, I like your close up shot better - for me the dark background makes the blossom pop.
