Every thing President Obama does seems to be intended to aid the Democratic Party, not the American People but his Party.
The endless fundraising, the changing of the Laws he is meant to Faithfully uphold, all Political Calculations to aid his party sometimes at the expense of the American People. Say what you will of GW Bush but you cannot say that.

Misinformation on the right. The Wilberforce Act applies to "countries with non contiguous borders with the United States," which rules out Mexican nationals, which is why the majority are from Central American countries. Most illegals in this country are from El Salvador and Guatemala.

The law also requires unaccompanied minors from said non contiguous countries be brought in front of an Immigration judge for determination of status.

See, we're a country ruled by laws, which separates us from the rest.

The law was written to protect victims of human trafficing, and to address an issue that was very dissimilar and smaller than the current crisis on the border. The law in the current situation does not serve its purpose but frustrates the government in acting in the interest of the American people and congress should quickly address this.

Now it is also true that the president and his allies may see benefit in the current crisis and may not want to address it effectively as inaction will only provide leverage in pursuing the immigration bill currently stalled in the House.
