I'm interested in folks opinion. I saw this cool cloud so I walked about 1/4 mile to get this tree in the foreground to add some interest to the photo. All comments and criticisms welcome!
Definitely color, with maybe a dash of HDR, just a dash.
I think your walk added to the photo without the tree it would be pretty ho-hum. But this is an excellent photo with good composition.
Thanks, I appreciate the view comments and opinion. Have a great weekend!

Actually, I like both...and I agree with Jerry about your comp and foreground subject. Did you filter the sky for the B&W?
In camera filter and a polarizer, it was already on there figured it couldn't hurt I had the light and was set on a Tripod.

Kinda figured that...real nice job. ;-)
ok, i like clouds better in color but the tree looks better black and white --not much help huh?

What he said :D
Maybe just slightly lighten the darker part of the sky in the B&W to define the tree a little more?
Well done, the walk paid off. My choice is color............
Colour for me Sylvia, excellent shot.

Its a toss up for me. I'm not crazy about black & white but I like this one. The cloud stands out.
For this photo I'd go with color. But, if you'd been able to use the cloud as a background to frame the tree, I think a good contrast BW would be better. It would probably have been impossible to shoot the two that way and avoid having them right in the middle of the frame.
I like them both, but I like the B&W a bit better. It pops more. But, I happen to like interesting photographs of clouds, anyway, and black and white clouds, in particular.
