Nice shots - I go with #2 as my favorite right now; I like the low saturation process either for the entire or part of the picture and have been trying to use it a little more. The "Mad little girl" is also of interest if you care to share your editing program and general steps that too is something I may try. Thanks for sharing .

The shots were cropped and I added a vignette around the one of my daughter and a matte around the one of my niece (mad little girl). The one of my niece was shot through a glass window that she was looking out of. That was the extent of altering them.

Your killing right out the box Brad! Lemme see if I can find a shot (not mine) that reminds me of "Mad little Girl" (WOW- she's working it- right?)

Welcome to the forums, hope to see more of your work!

I love the look on this kids face--

Brad- how lucky are you? You have a daughter that you can photograph and easily get her into a modeling career AND become a pro photog in the process!
Love the beaches in SC, my little Bro was born at Beaufort (MCAS) SC, and we have lived up and down the east coast most of my life, and the east coast of FL as far as beaches, does not compare, the west coast is another story.
I'm also shooting a D90 (great camera), have really learned quite a lot with it. I didn't really feel that the D7000 was enough of an upgrade to warrant the expenditure- it's better, no doubt, but I'm sure Nikons next batch will likely far exceed it. Have you ever used a D700? Wow, the viewfinder is SO much better than any of the DX models.

Looking forward to your progress!

Hi Strubbles! :-D
