Just some shots I found interesting...
I know these aren't perfect, I'm still learning. These (for good or bad!) are some of my better attempts, but don't hesitate to point out anything that could enhance my future attempts!!

Don't apologize, at least you're posting and asking for advice. Your photos have less than half of the problems I most often see.
Your first photo needs a little more distance from the bird to the edge of the frame. I applied a small amount of highlight increase, a touch of sharpening and more structure to the bird's feather. I re-cropped for good composition. You're original composition was fine by the way.
The third photo had too much area above the bird whose body forms a perfect diagonal that should point to the corners of the frame. Again a slight brightness increase.
All in all you're on the right track. The best advice is to look at you viewfinder before shooting and if you see anything that isn't adding to the subject try a different crop, zoom or angle of view, when possible. Good job.

I would mostly echo what has been said - the first two you crowded you subject against the top of the frame; #3 is much nicer. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the input bobmielke. I'll pay closer attention to those things in the future. I see the diff your adjustments made. cool.
