Monterey Country Transportation held a competition called "Walkable Communities." It was a surprise to learn that four of my five entries were selected.

Used to love riding my bike along the rec trail from the aquarium to my office at Park & Del Monte. We used to live at Lily & David. It was a great 3 mile ride going to work but a real pain to get home. Would love to be back there some day.

Thanks for the reminder. I remember your pelican shot which inspired me to go down to the wharf for a shoot. That's where I saw the bike rider.

These shots bring back good memories. We moved to Santa Cruz in '87 when we got married. We used to go to Monterey often. We later moved to Capitola. Congrats on the contest.
