Need help 'thinning" out some gear.

Winter months have had me in this position before. Too cold to go out shooting, so I get into "gear issues". I've got more than I need, and need help thinning out the gear. First, here's what I currently have: 1) Canon Digital Rebel T1i + 70-200/4 IS USM "L", Sigma 17-70 2.8/4 I.S., and Canon 50 1.8, 2) Canon SX40HS (35X superzoom), 3) Canon Powershot G9 + conversions lenses (W/A and TELE), and 4) Panasonic G1 + 14-42mm lens (with a 45-200mm coming soon----maybe).
#1 Allows me to shoot the grandkid's hockey, and gives me the best highest ISO capabilities. #2 Is a great grab-and-go camera when you're not sure what you will encounter, OR if you need a super long tele. #3 The smallest camera for those times when smaller, lighter, less conspicuous is called for. #4 Gives me essentially a lighter DSLR; something that I've been contemplating to eventually replace the heavier Rebel gear.
Ideally, I would wish for one camera to do it all. But that's not possible.
So how might you either whittle down what I have, OR offer me some points to ponder so I can help myself try and figure it out? (Though I've tried this a lot....and hence, my coming to ask you here.) I REALLY want "less....stuff"...so that I might use LESS, MORE. Thanks

That is a tough question for most of us. I still have my first camera, all but one. That is 10-12 cameras. And every lens I have ever bought. With all the gadgets that go with each one. I had to buy a bigger cabinet a few years ago. Do you have any kids that are interested in them?
I guess I would look to see which I used the most and sell off the rest. Buy some thing to support the camera that you keep.

The gear I'd like to part with first, is also the gear that is most important right now....DSLR stuff. If I could do the hockey thing without the DSLR, it would probably be out the door already.

Have you looked at the new Nikon V1 and the new Sonny's? I see a lot of good things written about them. Looks like the best of both worlds as far as lenses and size.

I find myself in a similar situation. I want to upgrade to 2 Canon L series lenses (like the ones you have) and get rid of my others. I'll probably sell on eBay.
