Love it or hate it, wind power is here to stay. EDP Renewables is building a wind farm in Eastern Indiana. Here are early construction photos of towers on my mother-in-laws farm.

I am trying to get there weekly, will keep up construction photos. The initial dig was taken about 2 weeks ago, the others were taken yesterday, different progress at three different towers. Notice my wife in several pictures to compare size
The base looks massive. Thanks for posting, pretty neat. I look forward to the updates.

This is most instructive. Thanks for keeping us informed with such a graphical presentation.

Wow! Who knew? These structures are massive and the foundation has to resist the forces generated by the wind but the scale is still impressive. Thanks for documenting this. I look forward to further pictures.

Robert any new photos?
Will be posting some new ones in a week or two. This project is developing from the west to east, and our property is in the east. Some towers are constructed in the west of the project, but I am trying to get pictures of the crane actually erecting the towers. One of the towers on our property had a water problem, they hit a spring, and had to fix that. I will get on the other computer and post what I have so far.
Here are some recent pictures. These are taken from several different sites.
