New to photography,any advice?
My suggestion would be to go through some of the threads that have been critiqued and look what others have to say about it. Then put up some of your own to be critiqued. Ask lots of questions. The people here are willing to help how ever they can.
I think your bottom picture has the most potential. I would get rid of the empty vase and include all of the willow branch. Position your larger flower so it follows the rule of thirds.
The second flower is too busy and you lose the focal point.
The focus looks pretty good on these, but is hard to tell from this small a file.
All that being said. Shoot to please yourself. Don't be afraid to break the rules. And most important have fun.
Country's Mama, thank you so much.I agree the second one is a little busy and the third one was sort of an after thought.
I will work on your advice.By the way I'm having a ball!
Well done. The most important thing to me is that you are having fun. Shoot a lot and your shots will get better. Don't be afraid to break the rules. Have fun.
Acoumtry 330 Thank you very much.Seams like I break the rules alot LOL

LJ, 1 & 2 nicely fill the frame! 3 doesn't do much for me - perhaps because there are two objects competing for attention. Have you tried cropping 1, or possibly some HDR? Love the color!
