I took these in and around Swallow Falls on a recent trip. It was quite beautiful there. As always feel tree to C/C, edit or add your own!

Wow, very nice. I have to practice my waterfall shots, they are nowhere near your calibre. :)
These are beautiful! I particularly like the last two.

Great set of photographs, my favorite subjects ever are
Miss Theresa (tilde531)
Waterfalls
Clouds the last two in no order the first most important. Theresa lives in central Maryland and I bet She did'nt even know about this amazing place, so you scored twice with me tonight. Thanks so much

Thanks so much. Really, the hardest thing about photographing waterfalls is getting there. Some are quite the hike but these were a very short hike and beautiful in the snow.

I think you did an excellent job on all of your photos. Neat job.

Thank you! I took the picture of the trees in the morning after a "hoar" frost. Up close hoar frost looks like fine white hair covering everything. Not something I get to see here in NC very often.

I really love the 2nd picture. You mentioned Western Maryland, but where exactly was this taken? I love waterfalls and would like to experiment with different effects. I live in Southern Maryland, in Clinton, just outside Andrews AFB, about 10 miles from Washington D.C.

This is in Garrett county in the area of Deep Creek Lake....near Frostburg. I am not from that area so it is hard to be too specific. I think it is about two hours from you. This is Swallow falls state park. Very short hike to the falls. HUGE hemlocks that are gorgeous in the snow. The rock walls along the trail are hanging with icicles that are five feet long!
