Science...the unreliable historian.

When folks on the 'hog talk about how scientists are just "sincere truth seekers" and that "science is unbiased" and all that, then remember this: there are NO unbiased humans....period.

Read about how one scientist was hesitant to share her findings about the T-Rex bones with the soft tissue in them because she knew that she'd be ridiculed...and she was.

Very interesting.

the bible fits that category as well. I could go into speculation, but i'll leave it at that.

You are welcome to speculate all you want.

The fact is; all men are biased, it's inescapable. We cannot escape our presuppositions, they govern our conclusions, our thought processes, our opinions, everything.

If you want to speculate about anything, you are welcome to it, however, I'd challenge you to do one thing at the start; to explain how you know what you know. What is the basis for any knowledge you claim and is it possible that you are wrong?

That's what I thought, nothing to back up your statements.

I believe in God but not the bible, and I said I wouldn't speculate. how do you document a personal awakening? do you need to.

Hi,

Taking the second half of the first statement "I believe in God but not the bible"

You have come to a conclusion that you do not believe the bible. Any specific reason(s)?
