I would NEVER argue with Erv, you know I wouldn't but (always a but) I actually like the B & W in the last shot. I think it helps place the entire focus of the shot on the expression in his face. Great shot!

That is great in color. He will love it when you bring that one out later in his life. They all are great shoots. We are going to have our first Grandson in April. Already got extra batteries. :-D

Thank you! I love both photos, but the color does tell the real mess he made and his goofy mom was cheering him on!! He is very expressive and has great language skills!

I am saving good ones for the grandkids for graduation just like I did for their parents! Congratualtions! You are going to be in heaven with that new grandbaby, enjoy, they grow fast!!!

Yes, I embarrass my 2 boys a few times with pictures. That's the fun part of being a Dad. Janny(wife) is on cloud 9. We got a late start on haven kids, so she thought she would be to old to enjoy them. I just plan on haven fun and taking a lot of pictures.

You don't know how much stuff I have for photography;) been in it for about 45 years. The family always asks if I have to take so much stuff every time we go some where. And the pictures I have. Don't even want to think what I have spent on film. I am 4 times as bad now that I do digital! 3 years digital and I already have 3 hard drives full. And believe it or not, I am in a few of them ;)

Bunny-Jean...All of the shots of your grandkids are MARVELOUS! I especially like the expression of the little boy sitting on the side of the pool. They are fortunate to have such a creative, talented grandma; and will cherish the photos when they are grown up. I keep trying to get good candid shots of my grandkids (aged 3 and 5) but they move so fast and so much that their eyes are usually closed and their arms and legs are all over the place. They also seem to become real self-conscious when they see me coming with my camera and run away or "clam up." I feel bad following them around. It's hard to catch cute expressions. I would welcome any techniques that you might share with me. Althaea

Let them play and stay more in the background.....the only one I have that is the real poser is my eldest grandaughter.....not the 2 boys or the youngest grandaughter... so no posing for them....Learned from experience with my own kids....I drove them crazy!!!!! Get them some old fashioned bubbles to play outside sit back in a chair relax and get what you can....create the playtime and stand back...you might be surprised!!!! let me know how things work out!!!
