The Heart Of A Rose

At a friends house today. Found this white rose (#1) somewhat past its prime but I liked it, and did a little PP in LR5 and cropped it (#2). I like the effect I achieved. Any comments or suggestions? Try it yourself. Hmm, the pictures are lighter and more of a glow on my monitor than posted.

This was with my Panasonic ZS6 set to macro.

I like the first, un-cropped photo better. The one suggestion I would make is to remove the sidewalk from the picture by cloning in the ground cover from the lower right side of the picture. I think that will make huge difference in the appeal of your photograph.

Thanks for sharing.

Side walk not cloned due to ILANBR syndrome. (I'm Lazy And Busy Reading - actually 3 different books)

Thanks for the comment.
I would not alter someone else's garden without permission, besides her gardener/father was there and is such a nice old guy I wouldn't want to upset him. He gave our special needs son a tour, a talk on gardening (mostly in Farsi, which Jon doesn't understand but listened to anyway, they had a nice non comprehended conversation) and presented him with some seeds from a fruit tree Jon liked.
