I notice that most of the hoggers have a link on there page of there own web site! how do you do that?

on your profile page, their is a box to paste it into. then click save changes.. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

can not find it. the only thing that looks like it is "create new page" I did that but I do not think that is it! I need some more info

do you see Contact Information on your profile page?
look above it. go to lines up.
it will say... Website (if you have one) the little box to the right of it.

on your profile page.

I think what you might be wanting to do is to link the URL in your Signature line instead, in which case it needs to have [ url ] tags in it, like so (remove all the spaces inside the brackets for it to work):

[ url=http : //www.redhogphoto.smugmug.com ]Red Hog Photo on smugmug[ /url ]

... this reminds me of a story, the computer is bad.. I go into a computer store and ask for help.. the salesman explains it to me,, I tell him I do not understand, so tell me like I was a 12 years old boy, he says if you were 12 years old you WOULD understand it,, ok tell me like I am a 58 years old!! ok.....you....turn.....on...the.....computer.....

The method I described using the [url] tags just lets you avoid showing all the 'http:...' & whatnot, and allows you to substitute your own friendlier text for the link instead (as in my signature link below)... just an alternative to showing the actual link itself.
