I was experimenting with DOF ........

At 135mm the DOF is very short at lets say 5.6 - 8

I decided to try and raise the ISO to 400 and drop down the shutter speed a bit. was able to stop down to F14 - f18 to give more DOF. I also moved back to around 6 - 8 feet to give even more DOF.

Got a bit more noise but the DOF was greatly improved, almost every picture was in good focus with the added DOF.

You are like the humming bird whisper or something! :) I've never seen so many great shots of them NOT being at a feeder! :thumbup:

Awesome.... stop holding these birds hostage and send them to Long Island!!!

I'm a sucker for cute photos and yours are nice and sharp,too.
