You don't mention whether you're on a Mac or PC, but if on a PC, you can go to your "downloads" folder (where this is varies with the version of Windows you're using) and delete the file whose name most closely resembles the 'corrupted' file.
Then, start the upgrade process again. I'm betting the download messed up in some way, corrupting the file as it did so.
Thank you for your reply. I have a PC and I tried what you advised and started over again....did not work. Will call Adobe tomorrow.
