Does any one have any experience with Zeikos CPL and FL filters. Are they any good? They are selling pretty cheap on Amazon and wondered if they are worth the effort and $$$. They claim they are made in Japan(not China).
Also, Is there a need for a FL filter when I have a FL setting in the White Balance???
I'm shotting a D3100 with a kit lens(52mm) and a 55-300VR(58mm). Thanks.

I have a couple of Zeikos CPL's on my lenses. I have not noticed any thing different with them when compared with my more expensive CPL's (Hoya, ect.). The one thing go tme to try Zeikos CPL is that it is multi-coated.

I have Zeikos and I also have Promaster I do not see any real differences and I find that the are good filters and the price can't be beat...Try them for that price and judge for yourself....

I bought a B&W CLP filter & a Hoya ND filter. WORK AWSOME!
Got em both off the Bay-used. Saved a bundle.
Another forum told me to stick with Hoya (multicoated) ,B&W. i put em on my D3100. Good luck

2 people I know have the Zeikos CPL and seem pleased with them. And no, you don't need an FL filter if you simply set the white balance to FL, but there are "warm" flourescents too, and you need to use the sunny WB setting for them I have found.
