Can anyone tell me how to get that bright area out of there and make it a green grass ariea
Looks to me like white balance is off somewhat but I am new at this and could be wrong.

If you have photoshop you might be able to do a burn on the bright area and darken it up some. From this though it looks like there might not be much detail left though.

Not a big deal, but I think that's a cheetah, not a leopard

Have you tried cloning some of the green grass on to the washed out areas?
You might want to try to crop the area with good color and contrast (headshot)
