Anyone know anything about or use PhotoPlus X5 a photography editing tool ?

It was on my radar when I went looking for programs in May 2011. However, I couldn't find a free 30-day trial download so I did all the Adobe and Corel programs. After six months study, I decided on Corel PaintShop Pro X4 (for the Photoshop-like stuff) and Adobe Lightroom for the quick and easy stuff (exposure, straightening).

In the past you could download one of their previous programs free and then they hope you like it enough to upgrade.

Photo Plus X5 starts out with a great premise,as a potential PhotoShop beater at a fraction of the price. But in reality it doesn't even compare that well with PhotoShop Elements.
