I love fireworks and your captures just make me smile and enjoy again the 4th celebration. These are beautiful.

I recognize all the instructions. Know what a 70/200 zoom is. BUT!!! What's 1"? Maybe, since I've never shot fireworks, I'm way off base, while I have longer zooms, I prefer a 28/105 which hardly ever leaves my camera. That said, would my 28/105 @f11 be successful? And are you hand held or set up on a tripod? By the way, we were living in Port Orange the year the shot did an about face, landed in the barge below the bridge and scattered the fire dept. volunteers. Incidentally your shots are enviably beautiful!

That is 1 second, and yes I used a tripod. A 40-105 would give you also great pictures you, because most of them are at 140 mm. Happy shooting.

Thanks. Now if I can press my way thru the air breathers with their cellphones, I might try to emulate your incredible shots.

yes I did some with 3 sec, but found I had to much stuff in it and most of them overexposed even though I had blocked out the lens with a black cardboard at intervals.
