I know, maybe a bit cliche and overdone, but has to be done. First time taking photos of fireworks, and found its both easy and hard. Easy in that once the settings are dialed in (ISO 100, ~f/13, wide angle lens and 5-15 sec), just push the cable release and viola! Hard in that...what is going to be shot, how high, does it have a mortar trail, timing the burst, etc. All good fun though! I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th! Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!

RW, very nice first effort. It gets better and better as you pursue more complex shots.

Great shots Russ , were they shot with the 700.
