Assassin Bug - Up close and personal

Hey guys...been silent for awhile as I have been honing my photography skills and my Lightroom post processing workflow. Feeling good about posting pics now, let me know what you think. Anyway, finally used the macro mode of my Nikon 35-70 F2.8D lens, which I really love to use and has turned out to be my general walk around lens.
I give you the Assassin Bug....they seem to like my Blackberry bushes!

Great series. As already mentioned, I'm partial to #2 of this group.

Don't they have quite an ugly bite? Seem to remember a friend that got bit and his foot swelled up double.

Thanks..sure most of them leave quicky when they come around....except for the Japenese Beetles...nothing gets them unfortuntely.

Thanks.....everyone says #2 is best, and I do like it. I really thought #1 would be the one with the red berry and the nice Bokeh off of it......but I guess its just a distraction.

Not sure about the bite....but then my lens was protecting me!
