... in between yard work. As some may know, I purchased a Canon 70D a few weeks ago. I had a problem with it focusing and returned it to B&H Photo in exchange for the Pentax. I'm happy I made the switch.

My first dSLR was a Pentax *ist DS and this K-50 is built to the same high quality standard, only now it's fully weather sealed. One thing I really like on this Pentax are the Mode Dial settings. Program-Sesitivity Priority-Shutter Priority-Aperture Priority-Shutter & Aperture Priority-Manual. I've never had Shutter and Aperture Priority together. It also has two control wheels so you can change settings simultaneously.

Definitely try the downloads.

I like 1 and 2, the DOF enhances them.

You are a wonder person for adopting, and he is a cutie, and I'm sure you ask yourself who rescued who???!!
I volunteer at a no kill shelter on Long Island.... so many animals need to find their fur-ever homes...

Nice shots, did you use the 18-135 for those.
I have the twin of the k-50, the k-30. For the price they are hard to beat for the features offered.
