I posted two black & white versions in photo gallery, one with some of right-hand side cropped. Would love to see your vision and version, either color or b&w.

Thanks for playing!

Linda, because you captured this on the 18mm end of your lens, you had gotten some barrel distortion which I tamed with Lens Correction, Advanced, and Perspective Pilot. I used NIK Viveza to increase structure, cut back just a tad on Saturation and Contrast; ran throughTopaz Simplify - Water Color II, Topaz Clean - Crisp Effects, Topaz Restyle for a subtle color change and Akvis Sketch to add a pencil outline around edges. Finished up with a Smart Photo Editor frame.

These are always so much fun.

I used paintshop pro X5. First I adjusted the curves to lose some detail in the shadows and then ran the NIK Tonal Contrast filter to a copy of that layer. I used tonal contrast in 'traditional high pass' mode and went -50 on all.

I made another copy of the original layer and converted it to B&W. Copied that, inverted the copy and set the blend mode to dodge. Gaussian blur to max on top layer and set blend mode to overlay.

From there I added an overlay and played with the blend mode and opacity until I liked the effect.

Did two...and enjoyed the play! Great shot, BTW. Also, I went to the Photo Gallery to view your work and couldn't find them. BUT, I did get to see another part of this huge site...and appreciated the work that many, many people have done.

Thank you! Very much a one-of-a-kind; I like it a lot! No need for pre-sets in your world :)
