This means that the insecure guys can't bring their penis-extenders to Target.
Poor Babies.

Then why do they put a "target" on the front of the store?

I wonder if they pay for infanticide for their employees? Kinda makes guns a moot point!

So tell me, do you want to be the only person allowed to post on this site with just your opinions?

A retailer "respectfully requests" that customers not bring firearms into the store and that gets this kind of reaction?

On the farm a while back a guy came into the farm market openly carrying a pistol. He was respectfully requested to take the firearm out of the market. Of course. Everyone on the farm is a gun owner, so this obviously has nothing to do with "gun grabbers" or any "liberal agenda."

My read on this was that they are asking you not to openly carry. CCW is still allowed so I'm okay with the request.

Thanks for a sane reply. I am a gun owner. I do not carry my target rifle everywhere I go. Nor is in a rack in the cab of our pickup. I cannot understand why the guy I saw a few Sunday afternoons ago felt the need to open carry a autoloading pistol into the nearby Lowe's. Was he afraid of being attacked by the sparrows in the garden center?

The NRA spoke out about this calling it weird. When these gun owners read this they cut up their NRA membership cards. The NRA panicked releasing a statement rescinding their first press release. This has been going on. Pitiful.
