SX50 and Memory Card Recommend?

Just wondering what you other SX50 users are using for memory card. I went out and bought a 80mb write speed card thinking it would help in burst mode. Seems slower than using a cheap memory card?

Well I am using Extreme scandisk 16Gig. I seem to get a lot busy when in burst and sometimes single shots.

Same here. In burst, there is the delay of writing from buffer to card. In single shots, I have only experienced a tiny delay when shooting raw, but no "busy" signal that I can recall.

What happens in video mode? Is there a delay with these large cards (32gig >and above)?
I use a 16 gig without any problems for both video and single shots. Of course my video clips are usually no more than 10 minutes.

It seems that the higher gig cards have slower write speed. Guess you have to choose between storage space or write speed. Maybe this will help towards a better understanding of your options: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2388408,00.asp
