Well done bbrown, very good conversion.
Thanks.
I'm a big fan of the Selenium tone filter.
I used to use that toner all the time
back in the old dark room days. LOL.

Have U tried doing it in Photoshop Curves rather than in SilverEffects?
Yes, I've tried curves and I've even swapped out channels but so far I like Silver Efex the best. There are a ton of presets that are all pretty good and then there is even film stock that you can pick. You have a lot of ability to change areas, for instance, you can decide to underexpose the sky and using the brush paint in just that portion of the sky and continue on with the rest of the photo however you want. Nik offers control points, which I love.
Then there are a lot of filters/toner you can add, Selenium being one or Sepia, Coffee, Cyan all to varying degrees.
I've gotten pretty decent results out of Capture NX2 as well but still not as good as Silver Efex. I haven't tried Lightroom yet other than just some normal PP stuff.

Linda, My old Silver Efex plug-in worked perfectly until I downloaded the suite after Google took it over, now it doesn't work properly. I think the problem may be related to my computer because my DxO plug-ins aren't working either. If you can share what graphics card you have in your computer I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, JackM
