The bear is a great teacher. Steak Tartar is good, love sushi, but I prefer my salmon not quite as rare, more like well done.

I do not think so.The same bear could have me on other occasions with no fish around and still was not interested to find out how I taste. Eye to eye contact from lets say 10feet is definitely VERY intimidating for the human.Watch out for my future topic saying something about defending an outhouse.

No,I was about 25feet from the bear.The lens was either 18-135 or 70-300.
