I've just got to get out more. But one of my babies, Luke, was just diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, so he is not very active right now. But if I take just Jack for a walk, he cries until we get back. And with the hay baled, there is no grass for the bugs. My subjects are limited. Then it has been rainy for three weeks now, the temps in the high 80s/90s, humidity high. And it's raining as I type this.
I think I'm getting a tad depressed. I NEED SUNSHINE AND LOLLIPOPS!!!!

Amy, these are great, but I especially LOVE #3. I think it's the color, simply because I'm not all interested in bugs. The leaves are wondrous.
Nice opilione! Even has a red mite parasite.

Is that what that is! And here I assumed it had something to do with carrying future little opiliones around! Live and learn! Thanks for the info!

Excellent set Amy!!! Sorry to hear you are down in the dumps. I will send you a little sun shine.:) Hope Luke gets to feeling better. I just looked that up and it doesn't sound like fun. But it seems to be treatable. Keep us posted!

Yes, that's my fav also. Thanks for looking at them. You like leaves? I got leaves! lots of them! Actually, leaves and wide leafed grasses we have around here are my favorite things to photograph.

Thanks, Erv! Yes, with treatment, life can be several years. He is nine this year so I think we can get him to his natural life limit.
Aw, I'm sorry to hear about Luke, Amy. Thank goodness Cushing's is a treatable condition. I love all of these, but believe it or not, long legs is my favorite, probably because I'm weird. lol It's just such a well composed, artsy shot.

Thank you much, Dixiegirl. They really do have long legs, don't they?
Excellent series, Amy, and I like your artsified shot a lot, too. Nice work on them all, but the ladybug is especially good.
