I ordered and installed the NIK collection and the only way I can access it is via plugins - Anyone know how I can make it a stand alone app?

NIK does not have a stand-alone framework. However, you can use it as a plugin with a wide range of imaging software.

Go to the NIK Collection folder location (use search).
In each module's folder create a desktop shortcut for the 'application' file.
Some of the modules, Silver and Color etc., have a 'save as' function, but you have to name it yourself. The others it is best to edit a copy or it will be destructive.

If you want a stand alone try OnOne Software. You can also use it with LR & Photoshop.
