I'm researching for a new camera and came across a deal on eBay. It's a Nikon d5200 3 lens 18-55 VR and 24 GB kit plus more all for $669.95 plus free shipping. Is this a good deal?

No, because it isn't really a "3 lens" kit, if it's the item which has been mentioned before. It is generally better to deal with authorized dealers for these cameras. Many people here have had good results with B&H and Adorama, as well as Cameta and KEH. There are others, generally local camera stores, but not many before getting into the sketchy outfits.
Check out Nikon.com for a refurbished camera and lens package deal, some times they have really good deals .

I meant to say it comes with 3 lens

I don't think it really does, at least not what we mean by lenses. If you include a link, it will be easier to explain what they have included.

Here's the link
The "wide angle" and "telephoto" lenses attach to the one zoom which is included, and don't really work very well.
I would run away because of this:
Manufacturer Warranty: No
For me, that means "close the window".
Thank you for you input, I would have made a bad decision on buying this
:) what brand of camera would you recommend for an advance beginner

The camera you picked is fine, the problem is that distributor. The deal which Nikon_DonB linked is quite good.

Here's the link
Its not a 3 lens kit.
It comes with one lens and two other pieces of junk called "professional" and "high definition". They are not either of those by any means.
It does not list the camera and lens as "in the box".
It lists them as "additional items".
Steer clear.
Skip these and go with the Cameta link which was provided above.

I agree with those who have responded so far and would advise you to stay away from both the eBay "deals" you found for the reasons they have already stated.
I have a D5200 and love it. The camera plus accessory package on Cameta looks pretty good to me.
