of throwing water in the one year old's face.
This seems like a most logical thing to do on a hot summer day.
Heck, I still gitta a kick outa doin that and I just turned 53. Please don't tell me I gotta grow up!
Like the pic though any who. brings back some fond memories

You're right except that on many days there are up to 7 boys in that yard. They are not allowed to hit, push or be disrespectful to each other. That would be chaos.
Real problem was some of the other boys tattled on him and when he was asked he said he did not throw water in his face. Oops! It would have been better to tell the truth. Lying was the real problem. The one year old did not have a problem with it. He was already wet and right after was drinking out of the spray from the slip and slide.
Since this happened two days ago, I'm not sure I will give them this picture. It will only get him a late lecture.

I would never tell anybody to grow up probably because I refuse to grow up. When my kids were little, I always told them I was 18 years old. They went along with that until my daughter's 18th birthday when she asked how this works when we are the same age. I told her it works just fine.
It really does bring back fond memories watching these kids play in the water. I am just amazed at how well this group of little boys get along. I would not be surprised to see life long friendships in this group.
