I am travelling to Miami on business and will have about 4 free hours in downtown Miami. Any ideas for places to shoot?
Thanks in advance!

If you go to South Beach, go to Ocean Drive
Another place if you will have the time is Coconut Grove. It was wild in the '60's anyway!

Vizcaya is close by Metro Rail.
Watson Island. Take a boat tour of Millionaire Mansions from Bayside. At lunch time you can go into the Port of Miami and if there are ships on port, you can board, have lunch and shoot...photos. Brickell Ave. has lots of beautiful buildings. Across from Bayside there is the Freedom Tower, a symbol of the Cuban Exile. Take a taxi to Calle Ocho between 12 ave and 22nd ave., there you will see Little Havana. Avoid Overtown, west of NE 1st Ave., bad neighborhood. After 5pm avoid downtown west of Biscayne Blvd.
I forgot to mention Coconut Grove, South West of Downtown Miami. Buses run from Bayside to Coconut Grove so the Metro Rail. So on the same route you have, Bayside and Downtown Miami then going South of Biscayne Blvd next come the Miami River, then Brickell Ave., then Biscaya, going West you can go to Key Biscayne, after Biscaya comes Coconut Grove.
There is one mysterious place that might interest you, the Coral Castle.

Thank you so much for all of your thoughtful suggestions. I ended up shooting downtown for a couple of hours. Since my flight was not until 9:50AM the next day, I woke up early and went to South Beach for sunrise. Great suggestion! It was awesome. I will post pictures separately.
A shot from South Beach on Ocean Drive.
