Thank you very much for your comment. Every time I went out fishing on a party boat I was glad we were out of it, it gets very rough as you might know.

I remember some years back my friend had a few beers before going on the boat and as we went through the patch he got sea sick. All the way to the Farallones he cried please let me die, I put out his rod and when he got a strike I yelled Walt you got a fish on and he yelled back who cares. by that time I knew he really must be sick. :lol:

Well in the Patch you just pay attention to the rocks, some areas you literally can be seen walking on water. Then once out in the Farallons its just the wind and currents keeping you confused as to what direction your drifting. Besides whats wrong with 6ft waves in a 3ft high boat. God it sure was fun.

I remember anchoring in the Farallon islands on a night when a gray whale got mixed up with some of the anchor lines and havoc ensued.
