Lazy waters redux in B & W.

A friend suggested that I should try my color version (posted earlier today) in B & W. I'd like to know what you think. Thank you.

Thanks for your input Robert.
BTW, I posted a modified version of '' The night heron... my best bird shot'' following your suggestion to reposition the heron.
It's in the original post if you care to look.

Composition is very nice. Do you mind if I play with it a little bit? (I always ask first!).

Looked that is closer to what "I" would have liked. Original very good also. I just have a preference for lower right framing on shots like that.

It's not a lot different, but I tried to add some depth and reduce the blown out whites in the center of the image.

Thanks Preachy I like your version. You did a good job of reducing the blown out whites. I tried but it was the best I could do.
