Andrew Bacevich and The Chaos In Iraq.
Here's the money quote:
"William Buckley once remarked that the country would be better off governed by the first two thousand names in the Boston phone book than by the faculty of Harvard University. "Heres a corollary: When it comes to foreign policy, the president of the United States would be better served to consult a few reasonably informed citizens from Muncie, Indiana, than to take seriously advice offered by seers such as Robert Kagan.
If experience has brought President Obama to share in this view as his recent ruminations on foreign policy appear to suggest then more power to him."
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it, saide Harvard intellectual George Santayana - This is as relevant today as when those words were spoken.
William Kristol, Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Condiliza Rice and Robert Kagan are still fighting the last war, and have not learned anything that applies today.

These guys are still fighting the last war because you libs can't move on and deal with what is today. You are still trying to blame everything from 911 to ED on Bush.
I am reminded of ancient history when I hear your ramblings. In ancient times history began with each new ruler who promptly destroyed the records of the previous ruler.
It is interesting that we hadopen Congressional hearings on Pearl Harbor but closed ones on 9/11!

The present social do-gooders are masters of the blame game.
Their belief in we're right and everyone else is wrong is just plain selfish.
Look at the poorest cities in the country. Who has run them since 1920's.
They've had close to 100 years of one party rule.
Trillions have been spent.
The politicians all walked away from these cities, their bank accounts stuffed with these funds and the people still in poverty.
Their montra is " Vote for me and I'll set you free".
Their greed is so subtle but so rampant.

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/esp_sociopol_911_3.htmI don't get your point?
However, I agree with you about the hearings on Pearl Harbor and 911.
History is valuable if you learn the lessons it has to teach. Dwelling on it and ignoring the present is of no value.

You libs, Teddie? So we can add sweeping over generalizations to to your penchant for irresponsible, false, and baseless accusations of perjury. Quite a portfolio of illogic you are accumulating. Impressive.
But to the particulars at hand, I would like to point out something that seems to have escaped your deep critical thinking: the current situation in Iraq is just another chapter in the neocon fantasy (first use of force and re-shaping the Middle East in an American image) unravelling.
It is not "libs" re fighting the last war. The last war IS the current war.
It is hilarious to watch the neocon roaches slither away from the light. Accountability is not everyone's cup of tea. Why, you yourself have demonstrated this odious trait, haven't you?

You need a brain to understand.
